LABOUR'S 'BRUTUSIAN' PARLIAMENTARIANS ARE INCITING JC'S SUICIDE, WITH HOMICIDE HAVING FAILED

Unable to push their 'leader' of the 'bridge to the future', Labour's Parliamentarians, with the support of the British Prime Minister, resort to inciting him to 'jump.'

For 'the right' thing to be 'the right thing' and truly effective and successful, it has to be done at the 'right time' as well. The rebellion by 172 British Labour Party Parliamentarians, is an example of 'the wrong' being done at the 'wrong time.' Instead of turning their flax on Britain's Conservative Government, and uniting to help deal with the Brexit crisis, the Parliamentarians chose to avoidably create a crisis for their Party, and turn their guns on their Leader.

Yes, it is reasonable to argue that all 172 Labour Party Parliamentarians who voted to express 'no confidence' in their elected leader, Jeremy Corbyn, cannot all be 'wrong', whereas Jeremy Corbyn and the Party members who voted to elect him are all 'right.'

There clearly are fundamental problems which are destroying the British Labour Party.  However, I suspect that these problems are certainly not all about whether or not Jeremy Corbyn is capable of leading the Party to winning a general election and forming a credible government. No, far from that, since no man, or woman, can expect to achieve either of those goals by him or herself. It has to be a joint and collective endeavour; the prerequisite of which demands that their has to be a sufficient amount of unity within  the Party, which must then complete the next challenge. Which is to convince the electorate that the Party's proposed policies are the ones which are required to provide them with a better life, and that the Party is capable of carrying them out.

Neither the leadership nor the Labour Members of Parliament have been able to make any sustainable progress in any of these respect. The reasons for this are quite apparent, and would most probably include the following:

1. Many of  the Labour Party's Members of Parliament are probably opposed to Jeremy Corbyn, because they think that he is 'a leftist' and that his kind of politics is not of the 'Blairite/Thatcherite' variety which they believe the British people have come to expect and would feel comfortable with.

2. They probably believe that Jeremy Corbyn is 'too old'' and does not reflect the 'sharpe image' which leaders such as David Cameron and Nick Clegg, resonate, and which they believe the British electorate want to be associated with. Corbyn, in the view of these 172 Members of Parliament, 'is not sexy enough', or 'has enough political sex appeal'  to be their leader. It might be the case that 'working class people' do not aspire towards remaining 'working class'; but aspire towards becoming 'more like their leaders', the elites.

3. The British Media, which is still very influential in influencing public opinion, has already given its verdict on Jeremy Corbyn, namely that he cannot take his Party into power. The Labour Parliamentarians have accepted the media's position and have decided to act upon it; by getting or trying to get rid of Jeremy Corbyn, not at the cost of 'even if it kills them', but 'even if it destroys the Party'.

4. The British media and the 'Brutusian' Labour Parliamentarians cannot and/or will not allow Jeremy Corbyn to 'win', figuratively or literally. They have to destroy him to retain their worthless 'credibility', which is why these conspirators are hell-bent on doing anything and everything to bring him down.

And, in their endeavour to bring about the demise of their, albeit, 'despised' and 'disowned' leader, the lead plotters will have doubtlessly, persuaded honest and principled 'honourable members' to put aside their principles and join a  catastrophic conspiracy which, even if it is successful in bringing about the down fall of JC, could do mortal damage to the Labour Party.

These 'Brutusian' Members of Parliament have behaved cowardly and without any honour or integrity. So far not having the guts to try to depose Jeremy Corbyn through due process, by having another leadership election, they have pursued political homicide, by destructively smearing, attacking and impugning his credibility.  And when that failed, they then, asked and pleaded with him to commit political suicide, by resigning.

So, what should Jeremy Corbyn do now; should he resign, or keep on fighting what is now becoming an untenable situation for him and the British Labour Party?

I do not think he should resign, because I do not think that anybody should make the lives of the 'Brutusians' less difficult, or give them the appearance of having done anything other than putting the Labour Party at risk of becoming a political irrelevance.

I think a new leadership election should be arranged, with MPs who support Jeremy's policies and some of his vision for the British people and the world, putting themselves forward for election as leader of the Party.

The Party is, at the end of the day, more important than the individual fate of Jeremy Corbyn and the 'Brutusian' Labour Parliamentarians.
