Sometimes you are confronted by what you are looking for, without realising it, because your thinking programme you to dismiss everything else which 'does not match' what you presume your answer to be.

So, consider this; the danger of us being so focus on what we are searching for, that we missed the opportunities that present themselves.

In living, we are always searching for something, whether it be the meaning of life, the purpose of life, our ideal partner, power or riches. And, as we earnestly search for these or other things, we can miss the equally or nearly as good opportunities or answers that present themselves. Simply by not seeing or hearing them or by ignoring them, on the basis that they are not what we are looking for, or what we imagine them to be.

And so, without knowing what we have done, we become perpetual - at least, for as long as we are living -  seekers for what we shall not find, while ignoring the opportunities which presented themselves to us, and the satisfaction and/or happiness which they would or might have brought us. We cannot know for sure, as we failed to grasp and explore them.


In your search for whatever you are looking for, be mindful of the fact that it might not present itself in the form which you might have been expecting. Be in touch with your surroundings, investigate and establish a dynamic relationship with it, as it could yield the answers your are searching for, directly or indirectly.

Taking a wider perspective enable us to see not only individual things or answers, but also how they relate with one another, which might also be the answer we are unknowingly searching for.
