A THOUGHT FOR NOW - MASSACRE IN YEMEN: SAUDI, AMERICAN AND BRITISH 'BARBARISM'?

Although it has become common place for the Saudi, American, British and their Sunni allies to be accused of killing large numbers of Yemeni civilians, the recent mass killing of Yemenis by their allied forces, has simply been unprecedented.

This Saudis initially, as could be expected, denied that they were responsible, but has subsequently indicated that they will carry out an investigation, something which is unlikely to be of any worth. Unless it were to result in the Saudis ending their military invasion of Yemen, and leave the Yemenis to resolve their internal problems.

And what of the Americans and the British, who, as the countries providing the invaders with the weaponry, and, according to the British, the training?  How are they responding?  Well, having placed its head firmly in the desert sand, with its hands over its ears, and Yemeni Khat in its mouth for all these months, the Americans have apparently indicated that they might review their support or position towards the killing and destruction which the Saudi coalition is inflicting on Yemen and  her people.

And so it is, that it has taken all this death and destruction to evoke some compassion into American foreign policy towards Yemen and the Yemenis. And still, we do not know if they will carry it out. The Saudis, on the other hand, probably deliberated attack the Yemeni funeral, with the intention to kill and injury as many of the mourners as possible, so as to increase their chances of kill what they and the Americans would consider 'high value' Houthis.

How cynical and callous can the Saudis be?
