LEWIS HAMILTON AND THE JAPANESE GRAND PRIX MEDIA MISADVENTURES - STEP BACK AND BE MORE LIKE THE JAPANESE, LEWIS!

Lewis and Nico had a great contest for Pole position at the Japanese Grand Prix Qualifying, with Nico Rosberg just pipping Lewis Hamilton to take the position, by less than a metre.

All of which meant that Formula 1 fans and spectators alike, should be in for a great race tomorrow; with Lewis in play for his third ~Japanese Grand Prix win; providing he can calm his anger over what some people saw as him being disrespectful at the Formula 1 Drivers Conference on Thursday, and what even more will see as his petulance and lack of control, in walking out of the post Qualifying press briefing.

Lewis, it does seem to me that you did the wrong thing on Thursday, and, if you had been slapped down by your employer and the media, you probably should just eat a bit of humble pie and show some humility. The media attacked you and you retaliated; probably without thinking through what you had really done.

You might have seen your focus on Snapchat as just a bit of fun, but your timing - and you know how important timing and concentration is in racing - was wrong.

It is Formula 1 and your teams, currently, Mercedes, which have given you the opportunity to become famous and rich. Your sponsors have contracted you because of the name and reputation you have made through your racing, and, yes, other things as well.

Do not disrespect your employers, the media or your fans; they all work together to contribute towards making you the racing champion you are. But, for heavens sake, get rid of the arrogance and disrespect. You really should have been giving the press conference your full attention, and not focusing on your phone. It is just bad manners, Man.

If you are to stand a chance of enjoying tomorrow's race, and, probably winning it, then, Lewis, you need to replace the anger and petulance in your system with serenity, humility, and, yes, forgiveness and love.

These are the attributes which will carry you safely through the time, space and energy which vibrates around the Japanese Grand Prix track.

It is only this week I have seen your comments extolling the hard and dedicated work and professionalism of your Mercedes Team colleagues. Can you imagine them showing the instances of petulance and unprofessional behaviour you have shown at these two press events? Of course not, because they know that they and you, must all work as a team; a professional team, which is always promoting the Mercedes brand.

If Lewis Hamilton walks out of a press conference or briefing, he takes his Team with him and exposes them for the ridicule he exposes himself. You do not want to do that again, Lewis.

So, Lewis, please, stop this shit, get your head together and go racing tomorrow and endeavour to enjoy them race and win it!
