THE ATTEMPTED ADORATION OF DONALD TRUMP, BY VASSAL POLITICIANS AND NATIONAL LEADERS?

Is there a pecking order here?

Oh my; how low can the mighty sunk, when so many, if not all the leaders of the world are stepping on each others toes to swear obeisance and loyalty to President Elect, Donald Trump!

The rot began with Hillary Clinton, then with President Obama, then other world leaders; all of whom had previously declared their belief that Donald Trump is the equivalent, if not the de facto 'anti-christ', the 'devil', if you like. And, no sooner has he won the Presidential election, do we have these quissleling world leaders, as if beset by great fear of being killed by a vengeful warlord, tripping over themselves to ask for forgiveness and to be spared the wrath of President Trump.

These world leaders, like Hillary Clinton, like President Obama, are behaving as if the are cowards, leaders without any honour or conviction in what they previously said they stood for. They are like vassal warlords who are scurrying to save they pitiful lives, from what they believe might be a vengeful Donald Trump.  This is not only about 'pragmatism', which, as we know only too well, is an essential political tool.  

The 'Don' as the new Pharoah who is going to 'magaise' America?

It is about leaders, especially the leaders of the Democratic Party, namely Hillary Clinton and President Obama being spineless in their argument that, now that we are defeated by the Republicons, it is time for us to forget what we believe in, the policies we have been selling and advocating to millions of our supporters, and back the Republicons. 

This is nothing short of a shameful betrayal. How can you ask your supporters to support an incoming establishing which is going to lay waste to what you have built up over the past 8 years, and disingenuously justify it on the pretext of 'being adult' or 'in the interest of America'? No, you cannot honestly do so.

The Democratic Party has, in choosing Hillary Clinton as its presidential nominee, done a disservice to its supporters and the American people. In asking its supporters to now support the incoming Republicons and held them to build the kind of America which they intend to build, and which the Democrats abhor, is a shameful of  gross betrayal. The height of political hypocrisy and deceit.

Gearing up for the 'magaisation' of the USA?

I have seen a comment where someone said the people who are congratulating and being nice to Donald Trump and the Republicons, are not being 'hypocritical and deceiful', they are just being "gracious and polite."

To which I would say, do you mean to say all of that nastiness which the opposing political parties have disgorged during the election campaign, was just a game, and not a reflection of the passion with which they hold and were arguing for the things they believe in, or professed to believe in? Did they spend all that money, when the outcome of the election did not really matter, because, as soon as the 'winner' was declared, they would all get back to being 'loving and united Americans'? 

That, I do not believe, and neither do the defeated Democrats, who must now relatively powerlessly watch as the incoming Republicons demolish the Obama and Democrats' legacy; as paltry and, probably, feeble as it was. You would have to be a masochist to want to work with your 'enemy' in him destroying what you have built.

I have no problem with the losing party's leaders congratulating the winner, if you consider the winner to be worthy and honourable. If he is or was not, do not be an hypocrite; be honest and tell him that you wished he had not won because you still believe he is bad for the country; if that is what you truly believe, as you have so forcefully argued throughout the election campaign.
