For Christ's sake, Boris, we are politicians. We are not pious saints, monks or nuns. We are expected to be hypocritical, two-faced, devious, and as treacherous as any other politician, when it is deemed to be in our national interest to be so.

Those are the qualities which make us good politicians, Boris.
But most of all, Boris, we must remain loyal and faithful to our allies, especially when it is in our best national interests, including our trade interests, Boris.

There you go again, Boris, but no, you may not, Boris. You have been in politics long enough to know and appreciate the prudence of what I am saying to you.

Why stress yourself or your conscience out about what the Saudis are doing with the arms we are selling them?

But, Madam, do you not see the massive destruction and the amount of death and injuries they are inflicting on the innocent Yemeni civilians?

No, Boris, I do not and neither have you.

Do you understand me, Boris?

You have no proof of any civilians being killed or injured in Yemen, Boris; have you?

But, Madam May...

You may nothing, Boris, but, may I remind you of what I have said, that you have no proof of any civilians being killed or injured by the Saudis using our arms? Right, Boris?

But Madam, what about Syrian government and their Russian allies in Syria? Have we got proof of them killing civilians?
