THE LIBERATION OF ALEPPO AND THE DELINQUENT REACTION OF WESTERN POLITICIANS AND THEIR MEDIA. THE END.

This acute sense of loss of power has lead to them becoming enraged and unable to think clearly and act prudently. To them not wanting to 'play' with the other constructive actors in this tragedy anymore. To them becoming susceptible to becoming spoilers, to the extent of doing or not doing things which can only be to the advantage of the forces which want to destroy Syria's sovereignty.

President Hollande, in a fit of pique, has been moved to criticise the very existence of the European Union, because, according to him, it has not been able to secure France's interests in the Syria proxy war. By the same token, there are those who will be arguing for the demise of the United Nations. The UN, we have to remember, was not able to prevent the west initiating the Iraq War and intervening in the Libyan rebellion, neither of which have resulted in a peaceful and/or better state of being for those countries. In wanting the European Union to support its foreign wars, President Hollande is inviting that organisation to to become - which some would, probably rightly, argue it already is - a tool of European exploitation and domination of the African and Middle Eastern countries.
Beware of the EU having its own army!

Yes, like little upset children, the response of the western politicians and diplomats, almost to a person, has been one of 'we are not playing with you anymore', and to threaten to kick down the international institutions which they are blaming for not allowing them to have their own way in liquidating Syria as a viable and independent state.

If the political leaders and diplomats in the west, want to behave like adults, prudent adults, instead of the delinquents they are now behaving like, then they need to stop blaming the Syrian Government, the Russians and the Iranians, and seize the opportunity which the evacuation their proxy armies from Eastern Aleppo has presented them with, to progress the cause of peace.

Of bringing about a situation where this tragic war can be brought to an end. They need to act with pragmatism and not like the novices they are behaving like. Something which emphasises the need for having more and not less professional diplomats, or having politicians playing at being diplomats.

The west might well feel that it has let down and betrayed its proxy rebel armies in Syria, but the greatest betrayal would be that of the west doing anything to perpetuate this vicious war, and resulting in the breakup of the Syrian state.

The sooner this war ends, the sooner the people of Syria can begin the arduous and massive challenge of becoming, once again, a unitary and relatively peaceful country. Hopefully, with most of them placing the struggle for national reconciliation and rebuilding of a strong, prosperous and relatively fair country, above any factionalist, religious,  or ethno-centic objectives.

The proxy war has created deep divisions and bitterness, and it will take probably a decade or two, at least, for the Syrian people to overcome the state of active insanity which has been the dominant ideology for the past 6 years, and return to something more akin to the then pre-existing state of sanity, before, again, beginning the quest effect advancement in Syria's civil society. But without having to pay the pyrrhic cost which this, so far, 6 year catastrophic war has cost the nation.
