JUST PHILOSOPHISING - THE POWER OF GRIEF. PART 2.

Now that we are feeling such a terrible loss of security and strength. With our stability acutely threatened, as we now try to, precariously, balance and retain our now seemingly tenuous grip on the metaphysical ground on which fate  has recklessly thrown us. 

Of holding on to dear life, as our sanity is threatened and assaulted, while our metaphysical world continues to vibrate and send tremors through our bodies, as it threatens to erupt and cast us into the baying, wretched, and uncaring arms of despair and depression.

Of being alive, but, some how, not being sure if we want to continue to be alive, to be living with such emotional and psychological pain as a constant or near continuous companion. Of feeling very very uncertain that you will ever regain your original state of being. Your state of security and stability prior to the bottom dropping out of your world. 

And to be feeling this on a continuous, a daily, nightly, weekly and monthly basis. Yes, how can one not seriously consider relief, permanent though it would be, of not continuing to suffer, but opting onto the train of destiny; now, and yet...

So,does or grieving has any positive aspects, or does it simply adds to our vulnerability and our sense of powerlessness, at a time when inner strength seems to be what we need most? Is is all or mostly a negative emotion, except in that it might send a signal to others to offer us help in our state of helplessness? 

And, if it is a signal to others that we are in distress and need help, might it also not deter them, when they find that they are also, at least, at times, unable to protect, to do or say anything to deflect us from our all consuming state of grief?
