JUST A THOUGHT - IF WE CAN BECOME WHAT WE CONSUME, THEN, COULD OUR THOUGHTS BECOME US? PART 1

If what we physically consume can have both healthy and unhealthy effects on our bodies and our health, then, what about our thoughts? Do they also impact on how we feel and the kind of person we become and are? If we develop the tendency to think hatefully and spitefully, do our brains develop 'hate and spite channels' which tend to kick in automatically when we are confronted with challenging situations? Or might even actively and proactively search our environments for people to hate and behave spitefully towards?

Do our thoughts 'shape' us, or do 'we', our ergo sum' shape our thoughts? Or is is a matter of the interaction between 'us' our id, and the thoughts which arise from the interplay between our inner and outer environments?

If our thoughts have the ability to make us what we are, then what are the implication of this for us changing to be better or worse persons?


If it be the case, that, how we think, therefore  are or are we, then, what could be the impact of us having evil or good thoughts? Could we become 'evil' by having a preponderance of 'evil' thoughts, or become 'good' by virtue of having a preponderance of  'good' thoughts?

If so, how much time would it take for us to change from one to the other; from being 'evil' to becoming 'good', of vice versa? How much time would it take to, let us say, 'reprogramme us' to 'create' new thoughts/attitudes/actions groove in our brain cells? And what of the 'evil' physicalised impact of our thoughts, let us say, our 'evil' thoughts, on our cerebral infrastructure and functioning? 

 Would they become dormant and inactive, probably in the same manner as we might lose the ability to readily recall a mental function which we had been able to in the past? Or would they compete somewhat with the new thoughts functioning and lead to a duality in how we function; probably some form of mental illness?

   It is unlikely that things were ever getting better.
