BEHOLD THE SUN, THE SUN, MOST WORTHY OF BEING DEIFIED! PART 1.

Good food and drinks, indeed, depending on how hungry and thirsty your are, most foods and drinks would satiate our hunger and thirst. 

Give us a sense of feeling good and making us feel euphoric, even if, after our feasting, we were to feel a sense of discomfort of dis-ease, as it were. 

Because we had overdone it, we had eaten too much or drink too much or had eaten bad food and drank unhealthy drinks.

But especially for those humans living in the northern hemisphere, how do they feel after the seemingly too long Winter months? 

When the first warm or hot rays of the Spring Sun hit their pale bodies? What does it do for they 'cold hearts and semi-hibernating souls?

Yes, it makes us humans literally come alive again. We become more likely to have a beaming smile on our now sunny faces. 

We seem to have more love or whatever it is that passes for love in our hearts. We become more friendly more likely to smile at our neighbours and 'the stranger' we pass by. 

We are more imbued with a feeling of euphoria. The cells of our bodies become more alive as they expand and become more infused with blood and oxygen in their endeavour to greet the Sun. 

And absorb its life-giving energy to replenish our jaded bodies and propels us out of our dormant Winter mode of being.

Yes, The Sun, The Sun. That truly great giver of life and light without which there would be no life and most probably much less light. 

If ever there was a Celestial body which truly deserves and command the imperative to be deified to be honoured with the title of God. Then it is the Sun the mother and father the preserver of all life.

The Germans have a saying "wein weiber und gesang", which means 'wine, women and song.' 

Yes, I am well aware that this saying was coined by an apparently heterosexual man, as, if it was by a heterosexual woman, it would have been "Wein, Männer und Lied." 

And, for a gay man, it would have been the same, while the original saying could have been reflective of the desires of both heterosexual men and gay women.
