.JUST PHILOSOPHISING - ON STATES OF BEING. RACIST. PART 1.

Racism is a pernicious worldview which, to different degrees, is still damaging the perception and interactions between people of different ethnic backgrounds.

In all and probably every parts of the world where people of different ethnic groups come into contact with one another.

Fortunately, although there is a saying that'familiarity breeds contempt', the mixing of people of different ethnic backgrounds could be a necessary and indispensable condition for effectively combating racism.

Conversely, policies and actions intend to keep people apart, based on their ethnic backgrounds or origins, are likely to reinforce preservation of racism and conflict.

In the end, it is not so much the destination which matters, as all humans and life forms have the same destination and end.

What really matters is the journey, the process and not so much the product.

It really is about this. If you were to be asked, at the point of taking leave of the world, of ergosumness, what had you made of life, of living?

Would you be able to say, I have tried to live my life well, and I have derived a lot of pleasure from doing so.

Arguably, racism is or has become a pernicious theory and practice of 'racial' or ethnic 'exclusivism.'

On the other hand, seen from the point of a particular organism or specie of the human family, wanting to preserve its perceived uniqueness, the 'racist' could be perceived as an advocate of 'evolutionary primitivism.'

'Racism' is a malaise and pernicious attribute which, all the evidence would seem to suggest, so far, affects all ethnic groups.

It is not something which affects only white people. All ethnic groups, of whatever, physical, cultural and religious characteristics, are capable of behaving in racist manner towards people who do not share those characteristics.

Indeed, us humans are also quite capable of displaying inverted racism towards some of the people who comprise 'our group', based on the degree to which some of them share the 'group characteristic.'

To be continued.
