JUST PHILOSOPHISING ON STATES OF BEING - EMPLOYED. THE END!

While offering the opportunity to the employed to earn a wage or salary, the state of being employed has other values which are not really about wealth creation. But more about ensuring that certain essential functions and principles in society are being upheld and performed.

We know that some jobs or employment are destructive, repetitious and provide products which do nothing to contribute meaningful value to human lives and living. In fact, some employment and products do more harm than good.

It is known that, with the increasing automation of production processes, the pace of employment creation should, in time, decreases.

Something which should lead to a weakening of the perceived link between 'having a job in order to merit or be eligible for an income.'

At least for the workers who are being displaced from the job and employment market, by the increasing automation and robotisation of the work place.

Once the links between work and the promotion of industriousness, personal and social responsibility and morality are broken, then there is less of a need to make it imperative that people have to have a 'productive job.'

The concept and practice of 'work' will doubtlessly remain, but they will have different significance.

For example, some work will not be linked to how much money it generates for those employed doing it. Instead, it will have its significance in the worker's contribution towards the social wellbeing of the society.

There will or would be less emphasis on the 'monetisation' of most things, whereby some social and environmental tasks are not undertaken, because of the lack of finance to fund them.

With the increasing automation and robotisation of industrial production processes, more 'labour' and workers will be made redundant.

This will then create the opportunity for these surplus 'labour' and workers to, for a 'social wage claim' on the increased productivity and wealth creation it brings with it, be redeployed into social and societal and environmental regenerative projects.

With less  competition and conflict between workers, as they fight to maintain their jobs and their livelihoods.

It would be desirable to allow for some interchange between workers employed in productive processes primarily concerned with the creation of monetary wealth, and those involved in more socially and environmentally regenerative and maintenance projects.

This could be achieved by allowing workers to move from one field to the other, subject to the necessary training and preparations being made.
