JUST A THOUGHT - NEW FRIENDS OF THE UNITED STATES' PRESIDENTIAL DON. PART 1.

Does a speech maketh a man or woman, or is it the essence of their philosophical approach to life and living? How is it that, just by making or 'delivering' a reasonably well-crafted speech, composed by other people, President Trump, T.U, is being lauded and if he is a 'born again Christian', when he certainly has not changed his inner self?

Hey, Man, Don; what's up now? Watching you making your inaugural speech to the United States Congress, man, I could not be more surprised to hear you say you will be making some 'new friends.' 

You kidding me, man, Don? Hell, man, I thought everybody were the friends of the United States. You did mean to refer to 'old faithful', did you not, man, when you said 'we will be making some new friends'?

I mean, Don, yes, let me refer to you as Don, seeing you are now bigger and more powerful than the  'man.' I mean, you did not mean to imply that you, The Don, would be making new friends?  

You really meant that America would be making some new friends, during your presidency? Right, man, I mean, Don? 

But I still don't get it, Don, man. It just doesn't make any sense at all, as I had been under the impression that, except for 'terrorists', 'failing states', and countries which the United States has deemed to be sponsors of 'terrorism', pretty much all countries in the world are our friends. 

Is that not your take on it, Don?

You can see why I am so baffled, man, I mean, Don! Help me out, here, Don, man. Let us discuss what you have in mind and see if we can make some sense out of it.

When you say the United States is going to make some 'new friends', logically, that suggest that there are at least three kinds of leaders and countries in the world. 

Firstly, those who are already friends of the United States. Secondly, there are those who are not friends of the United States. 

And, thirdly, there are those neutral leaders and countries, which are neither friends nor enemies of the United States.  

To these, we could add two other categories. Firstly, those leaders and countries which consider themselves to be 'enemies' of the United States government, or are considered by the United States government to be her 'enemies.'
