SO, WHAT DOES KIM, ERDOGAN AND TRUMP HAVE IN COMMON? THE END!

I do not believe that there really is a strong case for Turkish government officials to be visiting other countries to hold rallies to get the support of their expatriate populations.

I am not sure that any government should be allowed to do so. Sometime a country's expatriate population tend to have more power than the people still living in that country. Another form of 'elitism.'

Just as how the despotic Kims in North Korea are not the most trustworthy 'allies' of the Chinese, so is Tayyip Erdogan and his government most probably are unreliable allies of the Russians.

The non-verbal communication and messages emitting from President Putin's and President Erdogan's recent press conference in Russia, were, in my view, troubling.

I got the impression that President Putin was not always saying what President Erdogan wanted him to say, e.g., about 'opposing all forms of terrorism.'

By which he wanted President Putin to declare his willingness to attack the PKK and Kurdish militants who are fighting in Syria.

So, in order to compensate, President Erdogan, in his turn, put his own - and apparently inaccurate-interpretation on President Putin's  comments.

It was not an easy press conference, with President Putin looking noticeably tired and lack lustre. The impression was that, what was unsaid might have been more important than what was said at the press conference.

President Erdogan, as I have said, is somewhat of an opportunist and not a reliable ally or partner.

In his endeavour to achieve his own objectives, he, like President Trump, will always be on the lookout for who and what circumstances might best serve his interests. Which is not really what pragmatism or realpolitik is about.

So, there we have it; it is madness that Presidents Donald Trump and Recep Tayyip Erdogan and the 'Supreme' Leader, Kim Jong-un, have in common.

But, unfortunately for the people of the world, as if it is not bad enough that these 3 leaders should be so afflicted, the psychosis from which they suffer, is contagious.

Even if it impacts on different leaders in different ways, but still being symptomatic of a delusional psychotic state.

Consider, for example, the position of the British government, as it prepares to cast off from Port European Union, for its lonely and most probably perilous journey to find new trade routes and new wealth.

Taking both the willing and unwilling British people  aboard, as its hapless passengers.

And such is the fate of nations, that they are blessed or cursed with the prudence or insanity of their leaders!
