CHINA'S GRAND PRIX - HAMILTON ON POLE FOR FIRST WIN IN 2017?!

A big congratulations to Lewis Hamilton and his Mercedes Team for placing his car on Pole for the 2017 China Grand Prix!

And now, we must await seeing if the great racer is able, with the concurrence of the gods of good fortune, to place his Hammer on P1 of the China track, at the end of the race. 

So as to achieve his first Grand Prix win in the still very early Formula 1 2017 season. Yes, place it on P1, just as he has so expertly done in placing his Hammer on Pole, thereby out doing his formidable protagonist, Sebastian Vettel.

For sure, as Massa  and Alonso might have said, Seb is the racer Hamilton has to beat, and beat consistently, if he is to win the 2010 Championship. 

And nobody has to spell this out for Hamilton, not with Seb having drawn first blood, as it were, by winning the Australian Grand Prix.

Lewis will be aware that, with the competitiveness of Ferrari having been greatly increased. And matched with the calm and resolute application of Seb in the driving seat.  

It is driver's skill, courage, indubitability. And excellent and intuitive team strategy, tactics and consistency. Which is going to make the winning difference between Mercedes and Ferrari in 2017.

Lewis' moto just has to be that of 'It is not finished until the checkered Flag is raised at the end of the race.' Or The Hammer, due to mechanical or electronic issues, effectively drops out of the race.

The stiff competition between Mercedes and Ferrari and Hamilton and Vettel. Suggest that the competitive edge between them will lie with the race and the team which is able to maintain the highest level of competence and consistency.  

In most, if not all of the individual racer's and team's tasks. Which have to be performed throughout the duration of the whole race.

There is no doubt that Lewis Hamilton can get the job done at Sunday's China Grand Prix. But so can Vettel. 

So, in order to do so, Lewis must consistently demonstrate resoluteness, concentration, focus and application of his skills, experience and consummate mastery as a racing driver.

Only in doing so, is he going to stay ahead of the equally competent, and, probably, even hungrier for a another win, Vettel.

So, Lewis, we know you can do it, providing you and your team approach the race with the consummate professionalism and strategic and tactical application which both of you have become known for.

Providing you and your Mercedes team colleagues give yourselves the excellent start which you need. So as to synchronising you and your your car, with the track and and life energy which resonates around it. 

Minimising all resistant forces and maximising the utilisation of all favourable forces.

So, let the China Grand Prix of 2017 begin, and let it be a safe race for all the fearlessly racers. And let fans be given an exciting and memorable race. 

With the winner being the racer who is able to demonstrate the best mastery over the circumstances of the race. And not having to contend with any serious intervention from the gods of misfortune.
