JUST A THOUGHT - TILLERSON-LAVROV'S AND PUTIN'S MEETING - A RUSSIAN LESSON IN THE ART OF DIPLOMACY? PART 2.
We know that it is us, who would have to change, in order to give you the respect and validation you are asking for. But we are not willing to do so. Not yet, anyway.
Yes, it is no mean feat being a Russian in todays world. Unless you are a billionaire emigre who has pocketed the wealth of the Russian Federation, and left the country to go and invest it in the West.
In countries like Britain and America, whose governments have, it seems, become foremost among Russian haters and detractors.
The current bout of increased Russophobia has been fuelled by the West's resentment of the success the Russians and the Syria Alliance front has had in fighting the rebels.
Since Russia, at the request of the Syrian government, joined the war.
To the chagrin of the Western and other so-called 'Fiends of Syria' foreign governments.
Not surprisingly, these countries, including America, Britain, France, Turkey and Saudi Arabia, did not appreciation the new pro-government facts on the grounds.
Which the Russians had and continue to be instrumental in bringing about.
How could they, when it compelled them to acknowledge the new reality.
The fact that Syria was not going to be divided up among the different rebel and extremist groups, fighting for their western and Sunni regimes masters.
Instead of working with the Russians and the Syrian government to bring the war to as speedy an end as possible.
Which would have benefited the long-suffering people of Syria.
The Western/Sunni government coalition set about doing all they can to discredit the Russians and, at every opportunity, undermine their attempts to bring the war to an end.
Although clearly not the kind of end the Western ruling elites wanted.
It showed them up and they did not like it.
To be continued.
