JUST A THOUGHT - TILLERSON-LAVROV'S AND PUTIN'S MEETING - A RUSSIAN LESSON IN THE ART OF DIPLOMACY? PART 3.

It was not that the act of the Russians taking on the rebels was not good for the Syrian people.

It was about the fact that it was the Russians who were taking them on.

Something which might have resulted in people admiring such action and perceiving the Russians as being successful, in making a difference in the war against the rebels.

Whereas the Western Ruling Elites were not making any such difference.

Indeed, arguably they did not want to make that kind of difference.

The Russian action helped the Syrian Government to survive, whereas the WRE wanted it defeated; gone. Russia's action made the West lose face.

They argued that Russia's action would have escalated the problem of terrorism.

They wanted to see the Russian intervention in Syria failed, but they did not want to be seen to be overtly oppose it militarily.

That would not have gone down well with a increasingly perturbed public, many of whom felt the Russian intervention had broken the murderous impasse.

Which had seen ISIL beheading and oppressing people with impunity.

So they resorted to covert and not so covert actions of every kind to try to realise their objective, to replace the legitimate government of Syria and take over its sovereignty.

Ensuring that they, at the same time, were doing everything possible to control most of the 'accredited western media.'

To retain public opinion support, by covering their tracks skillfully and perfidiously.

And then came Khan Sheikhun, a godsend to the WRE. And how they milked it?

They alleged, even before and without providing any evidence, which has now become 'classified.'

That it was the Syrian Government that planned and used chemical agent against the people of Khan Sheikhun.

Which reportedly killed over 100 people, including many children.

The Western propaganda machinery went into full operation, with many western politicians and leaders aggressively attacking the Syrian Government and the Russians.

Whom they labelled collaborators, incompetent, and complicity in the attack. Effectively arguing that the Russians were inhumane, barbaric, and, one can imagine, 'uncivilised'.

That they have put themselves outside of the 'human family' by 'siding with the inhumane Al Assad Regime.'

To be continued.
