A CONVERSATION WITH GOD. PART 19.

For thousands of years, humans, first the priests, shaman, and the clergy, and then the ordinary people, have sought to speak with the gods, and then for the gods. 

Always being secure in the knowledge that the gods would not denounce what they have reported of these conversations. So, why have the gods remained silent? Why have the gods chosen not to speak for themselves?
G.: What can I say, T? When you put it as succinctly as that? I can understand if you think that I am controlled by my followers. 

 By those who believe in me and those who set themselves up as notable and learned scholars on me. It is not surprising that this should be happening, T. 

After all, as we have clarified earlier, I am an invisible god. A god who doe not have a mouth or a voice of his own, to speak his mind. 

 A god who no human has ever seen, or has had spoken to him/her directly and verifiably. Neither have I ever touched anyone, though many have and even more will continue to claim that they have been touched by me. 

 A god whom no man, woman or child, except in their imagination and interpretation of 'signs' and 'apparitions', can proclaim that I have spoken to them

Yes, T. It is a heavy burden for me to carry, except that, arguably, it is not really so. Because I am, as you have argued, an imaginary god. 

 Thus must my burden also be an imaginary one; however big and heavy it is presumed to be. The expectations of the believers are of course doomed to remain unfulfilled. Whether they pertain to this world or the after life world of which they speak.

 T.: Thanks for that, G. Considering the atrocious acts of homicidal bombing which is still being carried out by the supporters of Daesh or 'Islamic State.' I wonder if we could have a discussion about them?
