EUROPE AND THE WORLD AT A TRANSFORMATIONAL PERIOD IN HISTORY? PART 3.

Religion is simply not a sufficiently enlightened or logical basis, on which to establish a society. In which the rights and happiness of humans are going to be given the respect and priority they deserve. 

Religions are about gods, and not humans, except in that the rights and freedoms of the latter are circumscribed and subordinated to those which are presumed by humans to be those of the gods.

Still considering the 'burden of people of colour', we then look across the border of Israel to Syria and the Syrians. 

And there, we can see a nation on fire, with, again, the usual suspects - America, Britain, France, Saudi Arabia and her coalition of Sunni Muslim countries - endeavouring to destroy the country. 

And what confronts us when we look to the east, across the Syrian border? 

There we find the unfortunate country and people of Iraq, who, after many years of United Nations' authorised economic sanctions, and a blitzkreig invasion by American and Nato forces in 2003, 'to liberate it.' 

Is now a nation which is in greater travail than probably at anytime -except probably during the Iran/Iraq war - when it was being ruled by its now deceased form President Saddam Hussein. 

A tragic nation, which is still fighting for its sovereignty and unity 14 years after 'being liberated.' 

Which begs the question: will Libya and her people also have to wait that long and more? 

All of this, in order to make it more amenable for the West to achieve their geo-political objectives for the region. 

Which, if we are to draw our conclusions about the 'West's geo-political objectives', in these zones of conflict, has to be that of destabilising and frustrate the development of these countries. 

Which is so paradoxical, when we consider how western leaders persistently cogitate about 'democracy' and 'freedom.' 

Concepts which, for them, are oftentimes no more than the 'justification' they use to wreak havoc on weaker countries which they use as chess pieces in their machiavellian plots.
