IS THE VENEZUELAN CRISIS GOING TO CULMINATE IN A 'PALACE REVOLUTION'?

As Venezuela 'burns', both figuratively and actually, with massive race overtaking the people of the country. Its leader, Nicolas Maduro, continue to act as if he inhabits a different reality.

 As if he exists in a time and space which makes him unable to see, hear or feel what is becoming of Venezuela.

 He seems to be 'shielded' from the misery and destruction which eating away, relentlessly, at the very heart and soul of the nation' its people.

 Although priding himself as a 'Chavistas Revolutionary', Nicolas Maduro seems oblivious to the fact that the 'real revolution' in Venezuela, is taking place on the country's streets, in people's homes and places of work and learning.

Instead of waking up to the reality and significance of what is happening, Maduro is placing his hope on rewriting the Constitution of Venezueal.

 One does not rewrite the Constitution of a country, a nation, when there is such massive conflict taking place. When the rewriting of the Constitution is unlikely to afforded the care and input from all sectors of the natio

 n, which it requires, if it is to have any legitimacy. It is not legitimate for the President to perniciously resort to attempting to use the Constitution to 'de-legitimise' the country's National Assembly.

 Nothing short of having 'free and fair elections', and letting the people of Venezuela decide which party/ies should form their government and who should be their President, will suffice.

And still the embattled President continues to behave as if he is Emperor ~Nero, trying to present himself as being in charge of a burning modern day Rome, when he clearly is not.

 So, is there going to be a 'Palace coup', with members of Venezuela beginning to process of rescuing the Nation, by leading a coup against Maduro and his 'loyalist'?

 President Maduro! Please, a wise person knows when they should concede defeat, and make way for those who are more competent to lead than they, than you are. You need to pull back and do not take Venezuela over the brink. 

Do not stamp on and defile the legacy of Hugo Chavez and those patriots who have helped to take Venezuela to where it was at, even before Chavez's death. Scrap the fraudulent attempt to redraw the Constitution.

 It is only a general election which will provide Venezuela with the legitimacy which its President and government needs to be able to lead and govern. Nothing else, as this late hour, will suffice!!!

 You should resign and hold free and fair elections!
