JUST PHILOSOPHISING - ON STATES OF BEING, PATIENT. PART 2.

If we are patient, could it improve the health of our relationships with each other, with one another? Would our personal relationships be healthier?  

Because we would be spending more time listening to and observing the people we interact with? So as to learn and understand how what we say to and do to and with them, impact on them? 

So that we can communicate and have better relationships with them? Would such a situation enable them to also learn from and improve how they interact with us?

Now, I am aware that hearing does not, on its own constitutes listening and learning. However, if we spend more time being patient, concentrating, listening and hearing what others, including our partners, our children, our parents, are saying or trying to say to us. 

Might it not result in a decrease in the amount of interpersonal conflicts among us humans? Would it not decrease the amount of collective and individual unhappiness us humans have to endure?

And what about conflicts? Conflicts between lovers, between married people? Conflicts between religious groups, between ethnic groups, between nations and countries? 

If they had, and were willing to exercise more patience in discussing their disagreements and resolving them, would there be less conflicts between people?  Could patience really result in couples, families, ethnic and religious groups, and nations not rushing into conflicts, avoidably?

Is time really of such essence, that humans should have to resort to the use of force sooner rather than late? That we should pay the price of inflicting oftentimes, greater harm and destruction, in our attempts to not having to 'spend more time' trying to deal with, to resolve an issue we are contending with?
