JUST A THOUGHT - HAS ANYBODY SEEN OR HEARD OF FORMER PRESIDENT OBAMA? PART 1.

As Donald Trump and his Republicons gain some traction in their attempts to repeal America's Affordable Care Act, there is concern about the absence of the Act's figurehead architect.

 So, hey, man, what's been going on? Has anybody seen or heard of former President Barak Obama? 

 How loud is his absence, in this most desperate of times when the Republicons launch yet another vociferous and intense attack on the Affordable Care Act? 

 I deliberately call it by its proper name, as I am only too aware that, one of the main reason why the Republicons - and yes, I can spell, but I deliberately refer to the Republicans as 'cons' -  want to get rid of the act. 

 Is because of the ACA, association with a Black, now former President, who they hated because he was Black.

 So, why are we not hearing from the FPOTUS? Is it that Barak Obama does not think that the ACA is worthy of being protected from the destructive intent of the baying Republicons? 

 That the millions of Americans who supported its passing into law, and who have been benefiting from it.  Should now be discarded and exposed to the uncertainties and stress of having to be prepared to have a new Healthcare Act forced upon them? 

 That they should be satisfied with being the helpless 'ball' being pummelled between the Democrats and the Republicons?

Why has Barak Obama become so vociferously silent, when we might have expected that he would have been making much ado. About protecting the Affordable Care Act and the Americans whose healthcare needs it is intended to meet and is meeting?

 Why this apparent abandonment of the ACA supporters, by the FPOTUS? 

 Is it because of some  unwritten law which states that, former Presidents should not intervene in the political, economic and social lives of the country? 

 But should keep their mouths shut and not criticise the actions of their successors, however egregious they are? 

 That former POTUSes should stick together and become apolitical or non-partisans once their Presidential terms are up?

 If so, then it is clearly time for this 'tradition' to come to an end.
