ISLAMIC STATE'S WAR AGAINST THE WORLD - THE NEED FOR A MORE SYSTEMATIC RESPONSE. PART 2.

'A person who does not have positive regard for his/her life, is less likely to have positive regards for the lives of others.'


Except for its attacks in Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, the Philippines and Nigeria and the other countries in the Sahel Region. 

We are not talking about hundreds or thousands of IS foot soldiers murdering and debasing thousands of people. 

But rather, of small numbers of them secreting themselves amongst ordinary humans and killing and causing them catastrophic injuries, through the use of explosive, vehicular and knife attacks. 

We are talking about the disproportionate, even irrational fear which this minority of people can and are causing to the majority of people. 

Most probably because, more often than not, because they secrete themselves amongst the majority, and sometimes might not even have joined the SI ranks as yet.  

The alarmed majority and the authorities do not really know whom they are. 

And, of course, where fear of the know or the unknown becomes common currency, people look for others to blame; with our without justification.

Western European countries and Britain have recently become the increased focus of Islamic State attacks. 

Which gives rise to the question of, why is it happening? 

Could it be an indication that the 'War Against Terror', which the West is fighting in Afghanistan, Libya, the Sahel Region, Iraq, Yemen and Syria, is proving more successful? 

And that IS's increased attacks in Europe are no more than the spasms of a dying Islamic State monster? 

Or, could it be IS putting more emphasis and resources into their war on the West.  

In order to try to divert or deflect some of the attacks which the West is making on them, in their Middle East 'Caliphate'?

Or is it that Islamic State is simply capitalising on the fact that, one relatively 'small attack' in Europe and/or the United States. 

Can have a bigger global impact than a much bigger and more catastrophic attack on the long-suffering and much disrespected people of Afghanistan, Libya, Iraq, Syria, Nigeria, Pakistan, Somalia, Mali, et al?
