JUST PHILOSOPHISING - ON KHAMENAI VERSUS ROUHANAI AND THE INCOMPATIBILITY OF RELIGIOUS AND SECULAR POLITICAL INCOMPATIBILITY! THE END!

But only if he is doing so responsibly, and not attempting to score political points, from a revered 'religious' position.

He should not be, if as have been reported to have been the case, mocking the President and giving comfort to his detractors.

Such attacks, coming from the country's top spiritual leader, can result in the undermining of the government and the frustration of the 'will of the Iranian people.'

As unequivocally expressed in them voting President Rouhani back into power. Thereby according him greater legitimacy to speak on behalf of and represents the 'will' of the Iranians.

Than their 'Spiritual Leader', who has only the 'legitimisation' of the religious elite, and probably the blessing of the believers,

Iran's best interests, arguably, if you like, are better served by the governance of Rouhani's government and leadership.

Than by the dogma premised decrees and utterings of the religious elites, which Ayatollah Ali Khamenei represents.

Especially when their pronouncements are devoid of diplomacy, good protocol and humility. and arrogantly make.

The clergy, in all countries, should concern themselves with the spiritual welfare of the faithful, as far as they and their god is concerned.

And leave the governing of the country to the politicians, and the Iranian electorate.

If they are not satisfied with or find the pastoral care of the faithful sufficient to occupy their time.

Then they could consider putting it aside and going into politics on a full-time basis.

It is not desirable or logical, that they should consider themselves at liberty to attack the people's government, from their proclaimed, but highly disputed 'divinely legitimised religious bunkers.'

If the people of Iran are to realise their full developmental potential, and prosper.  Then, they require the religious authorities to either work constructively with their elected government and political leaders.

Or to occupy themselves with matters pertaining religion, and not do so in a manner which undermines the government or retard the progress of the nation.

It really is the case that, where humans are concerned, more progress can be made by us accepting that we are the highest authority in matters and decisions which have to be made about how we live and conduct our personal and national and international affairs.

In these earthly things, the gods have little or no power; except that which some people negatively or positively exercise on their, the gods, behalf.

Thereby proving that it is the people who have the power, but, for whatever reason, have decided to proclaim it to be 'divine.'
