MAKING AMERICA GREAT AGAIN - WHAT DEFINITION, WHICH PERIOD? PART 2.

''Great words',  propelled from the mouth of an unwise person do not make for the realisation of a great reality, as words, of themselves, cannot realise the meaning they are given.'

 But what does all of this, almost frivolous and populist use of the terminology or adjective, 'great', means?

When Donald Trump flippantly speaks of 'making America great again', should he not then follow it up by defining what he means by that phrase? 

Should he not have to go beyond the throw-away dictum about creating more jobs and buying American made products? 

Not being a party to any trade or environmental agreements and obligations.  

Which places any restrictions on America, and come at the price of jobs which are located in industries which are damaging humans and the environment? 

Should President Trump not be required to outline his vision of 'making America Great again', if he has a clear vision. And do so beyond the country wagging its military dick?  

Such as it has done by firing off 59 Cruise missiles at a Syrian airbase, and sending missiles and ships towards the Korean Peninsular, to threaten North Korea into behaving? 

Or sending military assets to the South China Sea area, to make a point to Chinese. 

Even as the President tries to coerce and implore China to do what it can - which the President, probably wrongly, believes to be alot - do to reign in Kim Jung-un?

Yes, it seems to me that President Trump and his Administration need to do much more defining of, not only what they mean by 'making America great again.' By using the strategy or principle of 'America First', but also about what would be the cost to Americans and other nations.

And then, there is the issue of 'when was America 'great', and what was it that made it so?
