BRITAIN'S GENERAL ELECTION RESULTS - WELL DONE, BRITAIN, YOU HAVE WON THIS STAGE! PART.1.

'Soon, the euphoria will become abated, and it will become clear that the 'new messiah' is no more a miracle worker than the previous ones, and that the people are still burdened by the same problems of old, with new ones added. That they want to be relieved of them, sooner than has been promised, and are not afraid to turn against the 'new messiah.'

These are doubts and concerns which apply not only to Remainers in other parties, but also to many in the Conservative Party.

To Tory politicians who are concerned about Britain leaving Europe, filing for a divorce but then wanting to re-engage with the EU under 'a cohabitation agreement', with, if possible, a ' reverse post-nuptial clause.'

Issues such as how best to tackle the currently increasing threat and acts of terrorism in Britain, and in Europe, in general.

Issues such as the wisdom of Britain's ever closer link with the Saudi Monarchy and its Sunni coalition.

The increasing tensions and conflict in the Middle East, and Britain's, France's and America's role in fomenting and weapon-sourcing it, for their monetary gain.

Domestic issues such as the burden of the Student Loan system on Britain's youth. Issues such as achieving a fairer redistribution of income and wealth in Britain.

Issues such as the opposition of many Scottish people to having another EU referendum, and to Scotland copying Britain in leaving the EU, by itself voting to leave the United Kingdom.

The Conservatives have, in fact, won the General Elections, by being the part with the most seats in the soon to be instituted new Parliament.

It is just that they have not won the mandate they needed to have, by, say, getting an overall majority of the seats, and probably 50 per cent or more of the electorate voting for them.

So that they could more arguably interpret it as 'being the will of the British people.'

And now, they must form a government and rule, effectively, with the support of the other parties.

Something which the Prime Minister has told the British people she will endeavour to do, by joining a pact with her 'friends in Northern Ireland', namely the DUP, which is a party more fiercely 'British' than those on the mainland of England.

The election results mean that the British electorate have exercised their tactical voting option by ensuring that non of the contesting parties have an overall majority.

And is able to rule with the singular purpose and authority which any government would most want to be able to do.

The Labour Party, under its previously embattled, but now 'rebranded' and, for now, almost revered leader, Jeremy Corbyn.

He has not quite won the general election, although, considering praises being poured upon him, you would think he has done so.

Jeremy Corbyn, who seems to have become somewhat of a political strategist, has declared that the election outcome means that politics in Britain will never be the same again.

Although, given time, I have no doubt that the pendulum will swing again, with the status quo being re-asserted.

Something which is indicated in his apparent commitment to the FPTP electoral system, and him rejecting the option of Labour forming a coalition government.

What with all this talk of Theresa May needing to resign. Which would make her the fourth party leader, after David Cameron, Nick Clegg, and Edward Miliband, to do so since 2015.

To be continued.
