VENEZUELA.S PRESIDENT NICHOLAS MADURO - THE MOST EFFECTIVE DESTROYER OF THE 'BOLIVARIAN REVOLUTION!'

President Nicola Maduro might, in his demented perception, sees himself as the protector of the 'Chavistas revolution. But nothing could be farther from the truth. 

He is its most effective enemy, who is doing a quite brilliant job at destroying the last vestiges of that revolution.

He might see himself as Hugo Chavez's heir, but, if that is what he is, he is a most profligate heir. And one who is squandering and trampling on Venezuela's heritage and the legacy of the Chavistas revolution.

He is a revisionist, and enemy of the very revolution to which he mouths loyalty. 

Maduro is behaving like a mad man; a leader who has lost all reason. 

He is like another Robert Mugabe. Instead of serving the Chavistas revolution, he is doing all he can to dishonour, discredit and destroy it.

All of which begs the question; Why did Hugo Chavez, of all the contenders, choose Nicholas Maduro, a man who is doing all he can to live up to the meaning of the first syllable of his surname - 'Mad' - to be his successor? 

Why did Hugo Chavez choose the man who the most fervent of the Chavistas revolution, would have chosen. 

Because they know that he lacks the leadership competence required to protect and promote the interests of the revolution?

It just makes no sense at all; it is as if Chavez had himself turned his back on the revolution before he died, due to some inexplicable reason. 

It is as if Maduro becoming President of Venezuela was the result of a machiavellian intrigue. As if Chavez had actually lost his rationality at the time when he chose Maduro to replace him.

While Nicholas Maduro remains in power, there cannot be any peace and/or progress in Venezuela. 

The man and his administration have become like a vampire; they are literally draining the blood of the country. 

The ruling Chavistas and the armed forces should rise up against Nicholas Maduro and insist that he steps down. 

He has become a very big part of the problem, and the only fitting part of the solution he can play, is to relinquish the power he is no longer fit to have control of.

Quite simply; the choice for Venezuela is that of Maduro and utter destitution of the country and its people. 

Or no Maduro in power, and the challenging struggle of the people of Venezuela to rebuild the country. 

Which Maduro's incompetent and infantilistic rule has made desolate and a land of despair.

President Maduro; stop sacrificing your country and people to stay in power. 

It is not fitting for a revolutionary leader or fighter to sacrifice those who should benefit from the revolution, so that he/she can retain power. 

That is a revolutionary and moral crime of the worst order. It is cowardice and a betrayal of love and loyalty o your country.

Do the right thing; man up and stand down, so that a competent leader can take over!
