AMERICA'S AND NORTH KOREA'S CRISIS - IS AMERICA WILLING TO 'SACRIFICE THE NATIVES, AT LITTLE COST TO HER? THE END?

This is the final part of the post, previously entitled - 'America's Second Korean War?'

So now the world, or, more accurately, America, North Korea and Japan are on the bring of military conflict.  

With the people of the two Koreas, North and South, being the ones who will be forces to pay the heaviest price, in thousands of lives which will be extinguished and maimed. 

We can imagine that some of the strategists, both the military and political ones, will be telling themselves that the probably massive loss of lives and damaged infrastructure will be worth it.  

If it will result in the removal of the Jung-un dynasty in North Korea. Some might also be seeing it as a possible opportunity for effecting the reunification of North and South Korea.

It is likely that wise counsel of the like of Rex Tillerson will be doing all they can to dissuade President Trump from pressing the conflict button.  

But there will be others who might be more combative and persuasive.  Such as America's Ambassador to the United Nation, Ms Haley, whose counsel the President might be more inclined to heed.

It is rather tragic that things should have deteriorated so quickly, and so soon after the United Nation Security Council have unanimously passed a resolution invoking economic sanctions on North Korea.

And now, the world must wait and holds its breath, to see if reason will prevail. While the people of North and South Korea, are confronted with being engulfed in a catastrophic war. 

As if the world has not got more than enough deadly conflicts raging at present.

Let us hope that the counsel of peace prevail, and not be replaced with the deathly peace which is achieved through the slaughter of war.

What is clear at present, except for those who have not been deceived by the hyperbolic propaganda of America's government, and its fear of North Korea.  

Is that North Korea presents, at present, and probably will do for a long time in the future, only a relatively small actual threat to America and Americans. 

The main threat which North Korea presents, is to the people of North Korea, South Korea, and America's military allies in the region. 

This threat is clear not imminent, but is one which could become imminent by President Trump's willingness to play 'poker diplomacy' with the government of North Korea, in order to demonstrate America's deadly, but reckless virility.

Since it is South Koreans and Japanese and other people living in the 'neighbourhood' or region.  It is incumbent on them to not just stand by like lambs waiting to be slaughtered, while America prepares for war, at their, and not its cost. 

The South Korean and Japanese governments need to take centre stage in helping sanity to prevail in this showdown. 

Not to do so, would be a demonstration of their willingness to involuntarily sacrifice their countries and peoples, as the cost of America demonstrating her military might, at no or litte cost to Americans and America.
