AMERICA'S SECOND KOREAN WAR? PART 1.

All of a sudden, North Korea has been declared by America's intelligence services to have the nuclear warhead to put on the long range missiles which it is developing. 

 Is this really the case, or is it the 'case which America, as she had done in creating the fog of war to invade Iraq and remove President Saddam Hussein, is making to justify spectacular military action against North Korea? 

 Yes, it is the case that Kim Jung-un and it his henchmen would have brought on their own heads what fate befalls them.  As they have persistently made clear the offensive, rather than defensive nature of their nuclear arms programme. 

 But, what of the innocent people of North and South Korea; for what would they dying and suffering?

North Korea's Kim Jung-un might well have bitten off more than he is able to chew on this occasion, and thereby risking choking on it. 

 Kim Jung-un has developed an unhealthy and dangerous appetite for goading the American government and deflating its pride. 

 He enjoys making threats, dangerous threats against America. Somewhat like a mouse annoying an elephant, and depending on its agility to prevent itself getting trodden on.

However, America now has a new President; one who is not known for his forbearance and wisdom. 

President Donald Trump, it would appear, has had enough of the persistent bragging and threats of President Kim Jung-un.  

 And is seemingly now ready to, in the world of gang parlance, ready to 'fuck up' Kim Jung-un and his armed forces, before he can fire off his missiles on the United States.

Kim Jung-un has been playing a dangerous and irresponsible game; the kind of game which only mad people would dare to play. 

 And now, he has had his match in President Trump, who is not afraid or, rather, prudent enough not to 'go there with Kim Jung-un.

  So, what are my thoughts about Hamas' unprecedented attack on parts of Israel, which has resulted in hundreds of men, women and children, some of them soldiers, being killed and thousands of Israelis becoming shocked and traumatised as they have probably never experienced before? Diplomacy ought to be the process by which nations, through their governments, establish and maintain mutually beneficial and peaceful relationships between them; Diplomacy is not, like the Gulf Cooperation Council members and their allies, including Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Bahrain and the UAE states, trying to bully and intimidate Qatar into doing their bidding, by surrendering its sovereignty.  Neither is diplomacy what the American government is doing, in using sanctions to force the governments of states of Iran, Russia and North Korea, into complying with its demands.  About what action they should or should not take in pursuing what they consider to be in the interest of their countries and people.  No, none of this is diplomacy. Rather it is method of force and compulsion, which is not synonymous with principle or practice of diplomacy.  Which is about the art of establishing and maintaining peaceful and mutually beneficial relationships between different countries.
