JUST A THOUGHT - THE RISK OF TAKING OTHER'S PERSONAL HYGINENE IN TRUST!

As humans, we cannot know or expect or be expected to know everything which is likely, at one time or another, to impact upon us. 

Such as the effect of people who, avoidably, pursue dirty and unhygienic practices. 

Those people who, notwithstanding the ready availability of water, will not wash their hands before the prepare foods and drinks which they will serve to others, or to themselves. 

Be it to members of their families or the public. People who will go to the toilet and have a pee, and then zip up and leave the toilet or urinary with scarcely a thought about washing their hands before doing so. 

People who, despite you attempt to indicate to them that something is amiss, that they should behave in such reckless manner, display a certain blatant unawareness. 

Quite clearly because this is, for them, the norm; it is how they always behave.

If a person goes into the privy or toilet and does not bother to wash his/her hands after having a pee, then it is reasonable to assume that they will do the same if they go there to defecate or have a shit. 

It is there norm. So, ok, fine if someone wants to pursue filthy habits, providing it is only going to impact upon their welfare, but not so fine if it is likely to impact on the health of other people. 

It can so easily lead to trigger points for the passing on of infectious ailments and diseases. 

Unwashed hands can leave germs on the toilet doors, for a start. So, when people who are most careful and wash their hands hold said door to vacate the toilet, they risk their health, and that of others whom they might come into contact with. 

During the past week, I have observed 3 people using public toilets and them leaving without washing their hands. 

The most recent of whom left straight from the toilet and went into the supermarket's cafeteria, and took up a tray to order a meal. Yuk, yuk!

So, there is so much in life that we have to take in trust. However, because people can prove themselves to be so untrustworthy.  

We humans need to be constantly vigilant and careful about reducing the opportunities for us to become contaminated by the reckless habits of other humans. 

This requires places which serve food and drinks to find new ways of getting through to their patrons to wash their hands after using toilets. 

It would also be helpful for them to have hand sanitizer gel at tables, so that people can use them before eating, and reduce the opportunities for the transmission of harmful germs.
