JUST A THOUGHT - WHEN LOVE OF THE POWER OF THE GUN, IS MORE POWERFUL THAN PRAYERS AND GOD! PART 2.

Yes, they must get carry on, until the next massacre jolts them again, hoping that it will not be them in the cross hair of the gunman or gunmen. But who can tell? 

 Still, they might think, what can we do about it? True, more Americans could carry guns; not that it would have helped many of those who fell victims to Stephen Paddock's period of madness.

 They could, though, organise a 'million person march' to Washington, and, say, smaller ones to their individual State legislative offices.  

 To demand corrective action from their local and national legislatures. 

So, why do they not do so? 

 It has been done for other issues, so, why not in pressing the case for gun control? 

 Why is it, that Americans really buy that shit about having a gun, no, not only a gun, but small and big arsenals, as their Constitutional right, and that they need them to defend themselves from the government?

 Are Americans still at war with their government after over two centuries? Is it not time for them to at least call a truce, instead of having millions of small unofficial militias around the country?

Well, if that is the really the case, it is not difficult to see why the madness will probably never change. 

 Considering that, it is the supposed fear of the same government, which they are or would be looking to, to defend them from the anarchy of gun ownership and gun crimes.  

 On which 'their Constitutional right to own and use such guns', are predicated upon. 

 It is madness! An artefact which no longer applies in contemporary reality, but, like the belief in god, continue to command the obedience of the illogical and/or the opportunists.

It might partly be the case that Americans, as a whole, have not yet reached the point where gun possession and its usage to massacre fellow Americans.  

 Is sufficiently troubling to command effective action to attempt to address it. 

 Of course, the longer it takes for such action to be decided up and enforced, the less will be the likelihood of being effective.
