JUST PHILOSOPHISING - THE DIVERGENT PATH OF LEAPHAR'S LIFE JOURNEY - A GOOD DAY AT THE PUB! PART 2.

And so it was that, on this lovely, bright and sunny day, on visiting Leahpar.  We decided that it would be nice to take him out, and give him the opportunity to enjoy some fresh air and observe the people, the traffic and the world going by. 

Who knows, he might also be lucky enough to meet friends whom he had not seen for a long time and people who know him, though he might not know or remember them.

Making our way by car from Leahpar's home, we entered the nearby market town and parked the car at a local car park. 

A sign of Leahpar's perceptual and information processing difficulties was already showing itself. 

By way of him appearing to struggle to comprehend and remember whose car it was that we would be taking to the town. 

He would again demonstrate this difficulty at the end of our sojourn into the town, by again, initially, relating to the car as if it was the first time he was seeing it. 

As we return to it for the return journey. For the most part, Leahpar, in travelling to and from the town and for the duration of time spent in the town.  Conducted himself in a way which did not display any obvious signs of him having the early stages of vascular dementia. 

He made his way about the town slowly, but with a certain panache, assisted with a stylish walking stick which, not many years ago, he would have loathe to use. Probably, somewhat vainly, thinking that it would attest to him being the elderly man that he truly is.

Making our way across the road, we ventured to have a meal as a local Wetherspoon Pub.  Upon entering which, we approached an empty table with the requisite number of chairs, and made ourselves comfortable. 

Perusing the menu, we made our selection of both food and drinks, which two members of our party  duly went to the bar to order.
