JUST A THOUGHT - ON THE INCONVENIENCES OF TRUMP AND PUTIN'S 'ILLICIT AFFAIR.' THE END!

President Putin is unlikely to see anything morally or diplomatically wrong with Russia and America attempting to interfere in the others national political affairs. 

Russia is mature enough to appreciate that that is what is to be expected, even if some of her propaganda tactics betray unbelievable stupidity.

The real challenge for each country is that of how effectively each country can be in influencing the others political outcomes.  

And/or negate the attempts of the other from having much influence on their country. 

Accurately or otherwise, the American Establishment is contending that Russia's media manipulations have been successful in impacting the outcome of the U.S' 2016 presidential elections.

Similarly, we have the French, the Germans and the British also contending that Russia has interfered in the trying to influence the outcomes of their elections, as well as the debate over immigration and terrorism.

My own opinion, based on what I have observed from watching RT, is that it has shown a bias towards taking the position of those in the West who oppose the migrants and immigration. 

This has been in marked contrast to the position RT has taken in reporting from Syria, where its stance, correctly, in my view, has been anti-coalition forces. 

As opposed to much of its reporting of events in Europe and America, being anti the government.

Now, if that is the conclusion of someone who likes to watch RT and appreciates its contribution towards the viewer having different perspectives.  

Whether or not this is just a perception, then, it also should be a concern for RT. 

It should take a serious look at itself, and make sure that the Russian government is not feeding a serious media channel with divisive, knowingly untruthful, and intellectually dumb 'stories.' 

If you lose your credibility in one are you lose it in others. To think you can get away with feeding your audience rubbish or fake news and stories is to disrespect them and display great arrogance. 

It should be stopped. Russia does not even have to admit it; just stop it. Close down the 'factories' which are producing the dangerous and divisive garbage, and put the resources to producing enlightened products.

Like President Trump, who would like to be able to 'trust' Russia and President Putin, but knows that he cannot, and vice versa. 

So is the dilemma confronting those who saw and have been seeing RT as a breath of fresh air, but are now having to ask themselves: has it become polluted air and as corrupt as many of the other mainstream media, already?
