JUST AN ANXIOUS THOUGHT - THE CURSE OF BREXIT? PART 2.

And then, there is the X ~Factor, which is that you cannot know what unforeseen, or 'unknown unknowns, additional problems and challenges, even opportunities, Britain will have to contend with, as she goes about trying to 'create this anticipated Better Britain.' 

Here, I probably should say, 'the British government will have to contend with.' 

As the role of the British people, within their 'democratic system', is largely restricted to 'mandating' the ruling political party, by voting it into power, and then leaving it to implement 'it''s mandate.'

You can hope that it, Brexitised Britain, will work out at the end of the negotiations. 

But you still have to wonder, even be very worried that it might not, and, if it does not, what then? 

The risks do seem to be greater than the promised rewards. And so, the question should be asked, why is the nation, Britain, taking this massive gamble? 

Is this the action of a responsible government, country, that it should be gambling with the Nation's future prosperity? 

And be doing so without the benefit of a 'feasibility study', and only on the basis of the insufficiently informed, and snap expression of 'democratic will of the people'?

The Saga of Brexit  does appear to be a curse on the House of the British people. More so, in that the country is now being led by the prerogative of Brexit. 

It seems to be a matter of 'Brexit at all Cost'. Of 'Brexit or/and Bust.' Of 'we the people have embarked upon the motorway to Brexit, and we cannot, should not reconsider our decision.'

And so, while the British government, unconvincingly and uncertainly implement what it considers to be 'the democratic will of the British people', and not knowing where it will take the country. 

While the British people, apprehensively, seem to have resigned themselves to the unknown fate of being Brexited from Europe. 

And the nation's multi-national businesses take flight to more propitious business orientated countries.

So as to provide a sufficient supply of inmates for the prison population.   As we have seen, for example, in the United States of America.
