JUST PHILOSOPHISING - IS BEING HAPPY A DEFAULT STATE OF HUMANS? THE END..!

Of course, just as how states of happiness, are, by their nature, of limited, temporary and even transient duration.

So, also are the states or times when us humans are likely to experience the absences of, let us say, situations in our lives which  do not provoke thoughts and states of unhappiness.

Which is not surprising, considering that the lives and living of humans are nothing, if not a repetitive series of kaleidoscopic mosaic, of emotional and psychological imagary.

For each of us, during our lifetime, we will have reached and fall of the train of living, at different points along the journey towards a state of 'perfection.'

Which, ironically, could also be interpreted as a 'state of obliteration of the conscious or ergo sum self.

Which makes it impossible, not only for any humans to 'escape' it alive, but also without varying degrees of emotional and psychological damage.

So, it might not be sufficient to simply define happiness as a state of, let us say, the absence of unhappiness, which is rather deductive.

Happiness can be described as a state of exhilaration, of feeling a sense of euphoria, of calmness, relief, of feeling complete and fulfilled.

A state of being where the individual, to a greater or lesser extent, feel that his/her mind, intellect, body and spirit have come together and are synchronised and working in harmony.

Not surprisingly, such an heightened state of being does not last forever, at its most elevated point.

It would not be viable for it to do so, as it would place too much demand on our biology and physical attributes. We do not have the inexhaustible level of energy which that would take

All of which could suggest that, 'states of happiness' might be prolonged and repetitive, but are not, at their higher levels of intensity, viable as continuing 'states of happiness.'

It seems to me that, in order to become sustainable states, they have to become transformed or converted into something else. Some other state or states which is/or more durable and interchangeable.
