JUST A QUICK THOUGHT - WHAT DOES AMBASSADOR NIKKI HALEY AND PRIME MINISTER BENJAMIN NETANYAHU HAVE IN COMMON?

So, is it ironic or ironic, that the United States Ambassador to the United Nations, Nikki Haley, like Israel's Prime Minister Natanyahu. 

Should have a penchant for using pictures of missile casing to explain to the world, how dangerous the Iranian government is?

Remember the seminar of Netanyahu, with pen and paper and a picture of a crude bomb, explaining how close the Iranian government was towards manufacturing a nuclear bomb? 

And now, here we are with Nikki Haley, with an empty and dissected missile casing behind her. 

Expoundin her thoughts on how Iran has purportedly given the Houthis in Yemen the missile, which, we are told, was fired by them towards Saudi Arabia.

So, let us imagine that the Iranians are really responsible for supplying this missile to the Houthis, and that they, in turn, really did fire it towards Saudi Arabia. 

So what? Why should that be an issue, an international incident for the Americans? 

Is Saudi Arabia not at war with the Yemenis? Have they not been bombing Yemen for the past 2 years? Destroyed a great amount of their infrastructure, killed and maimed tens of thousands of Yemenis, and starving and displacing millions of others?

So what if Iran provide the Houthis with some missiles to defend themselves? 

Has the Americans, the British and the French not provided Saudi Arabia and its Sunni alliance countries with billions of dollars of arms?  Which they are using to destroy Yemen and kill, maim and displace her citizens?

So, by what right, with what hypocrisy, does Nikki Haley assumes the authority to be lecturing the world on the perceived 'wrong-doings' of the Iranian government, while ignoring those of her own government and its European accomplices?

A better approach, Nikki, would have been for you to have kept quiet and not making your assertion about what Iran has or has not done. 

Just as how you have kept quiet about the nefarious actions of your own government and country, in supplying lethal weapons to Saudi Arabia. 

It is just like you not to be bothered by the fact that the missile has not done anything near like the deaths and destruction your armaments have wrought in Yemen. 

But, of course your message is about symbolism and anti-Iranian propaganda. It is not about balance and even-handedness. 

It is also an attempt to deflect attention from the world's adverse reaction to your President and Kushner deciding to recognise Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. Although, again, ironically, this, Iran's purported actions, is also about Israel. 

It is about your government, again, trying to deceive the world, as your governments have done on so many occasions. Which has now led you to think that you can fool most of the people most, if not all of the time.
