JUST A THOUGHT - PRINCE HARRY AND MEGHAN MARKLE - THE ORDINARINESS OF A 'FAIRY TALE'! THE END!

Over a decade since the The British Queen, it is believed, had done her bit to have Black British citizens joining the Royal Household Cavlary. 

And so, today, we are seeing a further evolution of the British Monarchy, into, like all or most other institutions in the British Realm.  

Becoming less exclusive and more inclusive of all the different ethnic groups, social classes, and competing leading ideas within society.

The fact that Harry is a white young man, and Meghan is woman of white and black parentage is, frankly, not of great significance in 21st Century Britain and the world. 

Since this kind of relationship is quite common within contemporary British and American societies. 

If they make each other happy and want to commit their lives, which, like all lives, are likely to have their ups and its downs, then, that is what matters most. 

Not the fact that Meghan will be getting married to a Prince, because, for all intents and purposes, the reign of Royalties in Europe is now only of figure head importance.

For Her Royal Highness, The Queen, she will have seen a process of openness which she is believed to have started with the Household Cavalry, evolved probably to its logical conclusion. 

That of her welcoming a a nice and well-meaning woman who is of white and black parentage, into her family.

Yes, the symbolism of a 'person of colour' joining the British Royal Family is noteworthy, but it is not what is of most importance for Harry and Megan. 

For them, what matters most, is that their relationship, their marriage, will prove to be a happy one, and they will be able to have and raise any children they decided to have, reasonably successfully. 

As is the aspiration of most, if not all people who are embarking upon the kind of relationship which they are undertaking, at this point in their lives.

And so, it is only fitting that those of us who are in touch with our humanity, should wish them every success in their endeavours. And that their successes will bring them and others, including the nation, great happiness.!
