JUST A THOUGHT - ON THE EXPEDIENT EXPENDABILITY OF THE SPONSORED ARMIES PART 1.

'Large scale armed conflicts and wars, when they are being fought, history seems to tell us.  Tend to be fought  with little regard for the lives and humanity of those involve in them, and on whom and impacts on.

Beyond the point where such regard is believed to be compatible with the objectives and aspirations of the combatants.

Wars cannot be fought 'humanely', as the concept of 'humanity', of sanity, must, of necessity, be denied, in order to give the combatants the 'extreme permission' to take and sacrifice lives, in their attack humanity.

And so it is, that we should not expect the wagers of wars and conflicts to become sanitised in their actions.

Or to see humans, both their fellow combatants and the 'current enemy', as anything other than expendables.

Where it is believed that sacrificing them will enable the achievement of the sought after goals.'

Changing alliances, is what we are witnessing in the latest stage of what we probably all hope is the closing stages of the murderous wars taking place in Syria.

While the Syrian and allied forces are busily fighting the various rebel groups in Idlib. Some of whom were given safe passage  to it, from other areas, such as Aleppo, which have been taken over by  the Syrian government and its allied forces.

With suspicious reports of the government forces using chemical agents against the rebels and the non-combatant population.

The usage of the term 'civilian', when used in some areas of conflict, has become  problematic and polemicised.

When the 'civilian population' overtly supports the militants, even in cases where such support is not only understandable, but might even be justified.

The question which has to be asked, as it has been in the past. Is that of whether it really is the case that the Syrian government would use chemical agents, again.

When it would give it no military advantage, and would be a major propaganda for the rebels.

As well as being seized on by the Americans and their allies, as the pretext to make a costly attack on the government's forces.

To be continued!
