JUST A THOUGHT - ON PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP'S REPEATED AND BLUNT DISRESPECT FOR THE PALESTINIANS, AND ATTEMPTED BRIBERY..PART 2.

Is an expression of great disrespect, is not lost on me. After all, is it not the case that us Americans would have liked to think that you Palestinians, you people of the Middle East - not the Israelis, of course - are more corrupt than us? 

And here am I, Donald John Trump, probably the greatest President of the United States, trying to bride you for a few paltry tens of millions of dollars. How ironic; how ironic, indeed,Mr President?

But, do not expect me to apologise for my despicable actions. Because my mission is great and worthy of being achieved by any means. 

Be it fair or foul, legal or illegal, moral or immoral, godly or ungodly. Whatever it takes, I will endeavour to achieve the tasks I have set myself, of 'making America First.' Of 'making America Great Again.

You see, President Abbas, as you would expect of a President such as me, as I see it, beggars cannot be either choosers or people of high moral standards. 

They should not expect to set conditions which  their benefactors have to abide by.

So, what is the Palestinians people to do, when they are so cruelly and with great disrespect.  

Told by the current President of the world's most powerful country, to 'eat and, possibly, choke on their pride and integrity.  In order to avoid some of them dying, going hungry and being sick.  

Or to hold their ground and maintain their pride and integrity, but suffer the aforementioned cost? 

There comes a time when, poignantly, in order to protect the honour and integrity of the nation, the lives and welfare of some of the people just have to be sacrificed.  If there are no acceptable alternative options.

This might be such a time for the Palestinian people.

But it is a fate that they and their leaders need to do more to avoid being repeatedly faced with. 

The Palestinian people, in some ways, like the Israeli people, are truly blessed with great skills, ingenuity, vision, courage and innovation. 

What they do not have enough of, it seems to me, are the gifted leaders who are able to mould them into the nation-building system which has so far eluded them.
