JUST A THOUGHT - ON THE ARMING OF AMERICA'S TEACHERS/PROTECTORS. PART 2.

And, just to make sure that there will always be an adequate supply of these intrepid 'warrior teachers' available.  Why not make it easier and less expensive for ex-armed forces personal to train to become teachers/warriors? 

 Why not make 'shooting qualifications' and armed services experience essential requirements for becoming a 'teacher/protector'?

 But what about the cost of buying the latest and most appropriate guns to join the ranks of the 'teacher/protector' fraternity? 

 After all, guns can cost a lot of money, and you have to have the right ones, and the right 'teacher/protector' using them. 


If you do not, as is too often the case with American cops, you could end up killing more students than you are protecting. When the aim is not to kill any students at all, in your endeavour to protect yourself.

 And what kind of guns will the President equip the 'teacher/protector' with? 

 We know that the President has spoken about the weapon being concealed, but where will it be concealed? 

 Will it be on the person of the teacher; in a secured holster, probably, so that the 'maniac' gun man is not less likely to snatch it when the 'teacher/protector' is otherwise distracted? 


Will it be a pistol or an automatic or semi-automatic weapons, so that the 'teacher/protector' will be more evenly matched against a well-armed maniac? 

 If it is an automatic or semi-automatic weapon, will the teacher/protector have to go around in a long coat to conceal his weapon?

 And how will the 'teacher/protector' and the school protect him/her from the increased threat they will face. From being known or suspected of being a 'teacher/protector'?  

 And the awareness of the maniac gunman that he need to eliminate the threat which the 'teacher/protector' represents?
