JUST A THOUGHT -ON THE WEST IS 'GOOD' AND THE EAST IS 'BAD' STEREOTYPICAL MISINFORMATION. THE END..!

The Chinese, like the Russians, are perceived with fear by the elite guardians of the West, of Western European Judeo-Christian civilisation, and are demonised accordingly. 

The guardians of the West perceive and characterise them not only as a political and religious threat, but also as an economic threat. 

In their struggle to defeat this perceived threat, the guardians of the West, consistently try to debase the Russians and the Chinese by depicting them as inferior to the West, in their socio-political and social systems. 

Making them out to be the enemies of 'human rights', of 'political rights and freedoms.' Always looking out for their flaws, which they then magnify under the microscope of the media. 

Paying less attention to their successes, and to balancing their analyses of their societies.

Consequently, it has become the politically correct  expectation of western politicians visiting the Russia, China, et al.  

To include on their agenda, 'human rights', 'freedom of speech', and 'political and economic reforms', as standard items. 

In other words, these politicians are expected to disrespect their hosts by telling them how they, the guests, expect their hosts to govern their people according to the guests' prescription. 

In effect, trying to use their hosts as instruments by which they endeavour to exercise their influence and even rule. 

Doing and inferring all of this, while they endeavour to get massive trade agreement with their their hosts, as Britain is currently doing in their Prime Minister's visit to China.

Of course, the relationship between nations is government by principles and application of pragmatism, self- and mutual interests, and their relative economic, political and strategic power. 

Which is why China is currently ascending the position of global leadership. Whether Western Europe and America can stomach it or not.

Yes, of course the guardians of the East might also see the West as inferior to them, and who is to say they would be wrong? 

Since it is the nature of a dominant power to either assimilate the desirable qualities and achievements of those whom it dominates, or destroy and deny their existence.
