JUST PHILOSOPHISING - ON WHETHER 'RACE' OR CULTURE IS THE MOST IMPORTANT IN DETERMINING OR INFLUENCING ALLIANCES. THE END!

A global human society and world which is more liberated from the the constraints, the oppression and backwardness of a redundant past. 

Which is holding the better future which needs to be built, to ransom, making it an hostage.

So, yes, 'culture' is more important than ethnic and/or 'racial' affiliations. 

Which is why we have black people fighting against black people, white people fighting against white people.  

Indian, Chinese and other Asiatic people fighting against other Indian, Chinese and Asiatic people. 


And Arab people fighting against other Arab people. In short, people, humans fighting against other humans. 

Primarily because they are perceived as belonging to 'another culture', which oftentimes including them belonging to 'another religion or religious faction.'

This is why it is not about getting rid of 'culture.' But rather of building an inclusive culture which reflects our contemporary humanity.  And aspiration to live in peace and as prosperous as is achievable.


The past was a divided past. If we continue to follow its path, instead of just learning from it, then it can only maintain and increase the divisions of the past and, yes, the present, and take them in the future. 

We are only able to build, share and experience the present and the future, collectively, but never the past. 


The past only reinforces the divisions, the religious divisions, the ethnic, the cultural and the traditional divisions between humans. 

People can more readily overcome the educational and intellectual barriers between them. 


They can overcome the social barriers between them. But barriers which are reinforced through ethnic divisions, religious divisions, tribal and traditional divisions, and particularistic cultures.  

Do not readily lend themselves to being overcome. For Muslims to become Christians, and vice versa, is a formidable challenge. 


For Jews becoming Christians or Muslims, and vice versa, is a formidable challenge. These religions do not encourage such conversions, in some cases, they might even proscribe it. 


Except probably for physical features, such as skin colour, texture and tone of hair. 

Which are a result of our ancestors' genetic interaction with their external environment, all or most of the  differentiation, culture, religious and social, between us humans, are incidental and voluntary. 

They are cultural, religious and traditions which we have inherited, but we do not have to become slaves to maintaining them.

This is what is called influencing, if not determining our own and our children's children's futures. We should grasp it with our whole being. 

Instead of continuing to pay homage to our past, which is more accurately described as our ancestors' past. 

To allow our differential and unshared past, to continue to take our  and our children's children's collective future to ransom, and deny them the better future to be built.

So, if the past is defective, how can we expect to use it as the foundation stone on which to build a better future; clearly we cannot, neither should we attempt to do so. 

We should evaluate where we, humans, are now at, and do what is required to build the shared future, one which with we, and, more importantly, our children's children, can all identify with and share, on an egalitarian basis.
