CHINA GRAND PRIX - I AM BACK WITH WITH SPEED, SAID DANIEL RICCIARDO! PART 1.

A Huge Congratulations to Daniel Ricciardo and his Red Bull Team, for having ridden the Shanghai Circuit to victory in the Chinese Grand Prix on Sunday!

A Big Congratulations also, to Valtteri Bottas and Kimi Raikkonen, for coming in at P.2 and P.3, respectively. 

Having had a miserable and wholly disappointing early exit from the Bahrain Grand Prix.  

It was probably only fitting that Red Bull should have gotten themselves sorted and provided Ricciardo and Max Verstappen with cars worthy of, not only winning, but winning the CGP in unassailable style. 

Of course Max only came in at P.4, in the race, but that was not because he did not have a car which could have brought him in at P.1 or P.2. 

No, it was because our intrepid racer still has those racing moments where he just finds it too difficult to balance the need for caution with the call of speed. 

When he is given to only or mostly hearing the little voice telling him, 'faster, Max, faster, if you want to win.' 

And when he ignores or turns off the little voice which cautions caution. The one which, if he listens closely, would tell him, 'go steadily but cautiously, Max. 

You can still do it, you do not have to make this manoeuvre here. You still have time.'

And so it was that Max Verstappen, again, like the intrepid but now more cautious Lewis Hamilton in days gone by, sailed too closely to the wind.  

Resulting in him spectacularly intercepting Sebastian Vettel's car, and compromising both their race. 

Which, fortunately, although demoting Vettel's by now declining fortune, as Valtteri Bottas made a successful under cut to take the lead from him, did not bring an end to their race. 

Max still had to pay a price, which was a 10 point penalty, which saw him being demoted and losing his P.4 for Lewis Hamilton's P.5.
