JUST A THOUGHT - ON EMMANUEL MACRON'S 'DAVID' VERSUS DONALD TRUMP'S 'GOLIATH', AND APPEASING THE BULLY. PART 2.

Being the arrogant, some would say, trumped up, ironically, little 'wannabe Napoleon' that Emmanuel Macron is. He is, arguably, not able to really speak for Europe and the European Union. 

 And, seemingly taking a leaf out of Donald Trump's go it alone and 'America First' and 'Making America Great Again', it is not difficult to see how Macron might be 'attracted' to Trump. 

 Like Trump, Macron was not widely know internationally, and, like Trump, he now wants to make his name and leave a legacy for history. 

 It might not matter to him that, the President he is role modelling himself on, or Yoing, is also a President who is busily dismantling the modest, positive 'legacy' of a previous American President. 


One whose proverbial shoe, he, Trump, might not be considered worthy of wearing. Which probably part of the reason why he has committed himself to demolished Obama's modest legacy.

 In wanting to be a participant, and a leading one at that, in President Trump's 'grand plan' for the United States of America. 

 A plan which he has relegated the rest of the world to playing only a 'supporting' role, which also include it paying the cost of his project. 

 President Emmanuel Macron places himself in a position which, like President Trump has done, raises major questions about his sanity, judgement, his morality and his humanity. 



After all, if he does not share Donald Trump's vision for America and the rest of the World.  Then, why go out of his way to align or appear to be aligning himself, and France, so closely to President Trump? 

 Is it because he sees 'commonality' between the interests of both the United States and France? And, if so, what are these 'common interests'? 

 Are they economic ones? Are they diplomatic and strategic ones? Are they political ones? 

 Is it that Macronised France and Trumpetised America have a shared vision of how they would like to re-colonised strategic regions and countries of the world, including the Middle East and the former French African nations?

   It is unlikely that things were ever getting better.   So, what are my thoughts about Hamas' unprecedented attack on parts of Israel, which has resulted in hundreds of men, women and children, some of them soldiers, being killed and thousands of Israelis becoming shocked and traumatised as they have probably never experienced before?
