JUST PHILOSOPHISING - ON THE SHALLOWNESS OF SEEING THINGS ONLY IN 'BLACK AND WHITE.' PART 1.

Talk about the relationship between people of different ethnic groups in the Eurocentric world. 

And many of us, especially the more vocal ones, tend to reduce all or most things to the extremes of black and white, of black versus white. 

We tend to exist and debate things from these extreme polarities. We perceive of the world from and in terms of 'the white' or 'the black side.' 

Even though it might be the case that most of us, who live in ethnically more mixed and less mone-ethnic and cultural societies and countries. 

Spend varying amounts of our daily lives interacting with people and colleagues from different cultures and ethnicities. 

Yes, when we return home, say, after work, after school, the sports fields, etc, we might inhabit an entirely mono-ethnic and cultural world. 

And even then, it might not be as mono or single dimension-ethnic world as might appear to be the case.  

Since the music we listen to, and the TV programmes we watch, the electronic games they/we play.  

In our multi-ethnic and multi-cultural western orientated societies, will, to different degrees, reflect the ethnic diversity which predominates in the general society. 

Notwithstanding the various relative - uni-ethnic and cultural enclaves or communities which form the or parts of the general whole.

Considering this kind of demographic structuring of multi-ethnic and cultural societies.  

It is probably not surprising that tensions and conflicts in them, can so often express themselves with a certain amount of 'ethnic' and cultural undertones. 

Even if 'ethnicity' and 'cultural diversity' are only some of the key social and demographic factors, which are used to describe, study and analyse human interaction with themselves and their world.
