'There is a point at which a nation can no longer claim that the offensive actions it takes against other nations.  

 Is in defence of itself. When that point is reached, those offensive actions should be seen and treated as being no more than a naked and disingenuous attempt to disguise its offensive actions of that State.'

 So, how will the world respond to this blatant  declaration of  war against Iran and the Iranians, 'by whatever means necessary.'  

 And against the rest of the world, by economic, financial and American decrees, by the Trump Administration? 

 How will the American people responds to defiling of what is best in their much vaunted Constitution, by their renegade President? 

 Will he be censored by Congress, or will the American Congress prove themselves criminally neglegent, and allow Donald Trump to create, by perfidious, machiavellian and Borgiastic means.  

 The conditions for probably the biggest conflict in the world, since the Second World War?


Judging by the successes which the Trump Renegade Administration is making in proving itself to be the most malignant government the United States has ever had.  

 Despite the now receding protests against it, it would seem that the challenge might be too much for Congress. 

 And that, the only hope now is that the eligible American electorate will vote in in record numbers in the 2020 Presidential elections, for presidential candidate other than Donald Trump, and one who is his antithesis.

 We could, of course, look to Europe and sapient European leaders to 'save us' from America's Renegade and Malignant President and government. 


But, to whom would or should we look? To President Emmanuel Macron of France? President Macron, it is clear, has made 'his bed' with Donald Trump. 

 He likes Donald, which is not surprising, considering both men have a penchant for an autocratic and absolutist imperial style of rule. 

 They are both attracted to the idea of transforming the world into the equivalent of a 'blank slate' and writing and giving effect to their 'imperial will' on it. God-like, if you wish. 

 Both Macron and Trump share the view that, 'Iran is a threat to their perception and strategic design on the Middle East, and that the Iranian State should be weakened.'

Diplomacy ought to be the process by which nations, through their governments, establish and maintain mutually beneficial and peaceful relationships between them; Diplomacy is not, like the Gulf Cooperation Council members and their allies, including Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Bahrain and the UAE states, trying to bully and intimidate Qatar into doing their bidding, by surrendering its sovereignty.  Neither is diplomacy what the American government is doing, in using sanctions to force the governments of states of Iran, Russia and North Korea, into complying with its demands.  About what action they should or should not take in pursuing what they consider to be in the interest of their countries and people.  No, none of this is diplomacy. Rather it is method of force and compulsion, which is not synonymous with principle or practice of diplomacy.  Which is about the art of establishing and maintaining peaceful and mutually beneficial relationships between different countries.
