JUST A THOUGHT - ON THE GREAT COLONIALIST CONSPIRACY WHICH HAS GIVEN BIRTH TO THE STATE OF ISRAEL AND AL NAKBA. PART 5.

'According to a verse in the Bible, a man postulated that, 'In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.'

That is what is called a parable, a puzzle or, even a riddle.

Make what you will of it, but one way of interpreting this parable, this riddle, is to take it as a reference to the 'power of the word.'  Of 'the thought made into a coherent idea or vision of the way forward.'

Which is then used as the 'engine or locomotive to drive towards achieving the goal which is envisioned by the 'idea.'

Is speaks of the 'power encapsulated into the vision.' A vision which is so powerful that it can drive a people into taking 'the necessary and appropriate actions' to realise their goal.

'Necessary and appropriate', being operative 'words', as the 'idea' the 'vision' cannot be realised by the people not doing what is the required action to achieve it.

It is not just about them being passionate and enthusiastic in anything they do, to achieve the desired goal.

It is about what they do, and when and how they do it. It is about  what they learn from their doing, and how they have included it into what they do next.  As well as about their motivation, passion and persistence.

Although the Word or vision might be God, power. A vision, devoid of appropriate action to realise it. Is as futile as great power exercised, but without the guidance of a 'good idea or vision.'

When an occupied and oppressed people begin to have doubts about themselves and the value of their lives, they become at risk of losing their struggle.

When they begin and make it the norm for them to behave in a manner, which seems to show that they have internalised their oppressors' worldview.

That their lives is of less value than those of the oppressors, and that 'they are keen and willing to die for the cause.'

Then, they, the oppressed, are in danger of facilitating the 'oppressors vision', and not their own.

Because, it is at that stage that the oppressor will declare: 'you see what we mean, when we say they (the oppressed) do not value or appreciate their own lives, or, indeed, any lives?

'They' are  not 'like us' humans, therefore 'they are not humans.' 'They are 'terroorists', and 'the supporters of 'terroorists.'

Which is why the lives of Palestinians should never be sacrificed in such a way as to suggest that it is of 'less value to the Palestinians, than that of any Israeli citizen, to the Israelis.'

To be continued!
