JUST A THOUGHT - FOR THE WEST'S ESTABLISHMENT, 'DEMOCRACY' AND A 'WEST-COMPLIANT GOVERNMENT' IS WORTH ANY PRICE! PART 3.

In retaliating to Rwanda increasing the tariff on imported American second hand clothing, in its attempt to protect its textile industry.'

So, going back to the original question.  What price is the 'West' willing to pay for transplanting its model of 'democracy' and 'liberal-democratic' model of government onto countries like Rwanda?'

Well, it seems that it largely depends on who is required to pay the price of the transplantation of the 'sacred democracy and liberal-democratic system of government.'

If, for example, the price is having to be paid by the 'natives', then, it seems, the guideline being applied is that of 'the sky is the limit.'

This principle has been applied to Iraq, and to Libya, and is now being applied to Yemen and Syria.

You see, it is not the fruits, as it were, of the application of 'democracy' and the 'liberal-democratic' model of government with which the purveyors and advocates of these 'values' or social systems are concerned.

If it was about the quality of outcomes they produce, then, indeed, Mr Humphrys and the BBC would have lavished praises on President Kagame and his government.

They might have said things like - 'well, it is true that Rwanda's model of government might not be what the advocates of the 'purist democratic model' would like.

But their, Rwanda's model is working and it is delivering good results. It is their model and they have a 'democratic' or sovereign right to make their own decisions.'

Mr Humphrys and the BBC would have lauded them for their high efficiency and governance rating.

They would have lauded the government of Rwanda for the reconciliation between its people, which it has overseen since the last atrocious massacre of its Tutsi population and and Hutus who had opposed it.

The guardians and advocates of this 'democratic' model are not too bothered if it is seriously corrupt and rotten, as long as it meets or passes the 'democracy test.'

To be continued!
