JUST A THOUGHT - ON THE BRITISH JUDICIARY'S DENIAL OF THE RIGHT TO ASSISTED DYING. THE END, FOR NOW!

So, there we have the Establishment's response to Mr Conley's case, to be allowed to exercise his right to die with dignity and respect.  Once he is no longer able to live a liveable life.

There we have 'the religious and sanctimonious' response from the same British Judiciary. The same one which gave us the British and American led war on Iraq.

You must be joking; you must be having a very demented laugh as justice!

'Significance of sanctity of life", Sir Etherton?  Do not be too concerned with it, Sir. Because, in truth, life has never in the history of humans, been 'sanctified.' Be concerned more about the quality and enjoyability of living, and not of a life which is beyond living!

Respect for the 'sanctity of life', would have required you and your colleagues to allow unfortunate people, humans like Mr Conley, to exercise their human right to have a dignified death.

And not to condemn them to be tortured relentlessly and persistently.  Simply because they are too weak and vulnerable, in challenging the Establishment, to take their own lives anymore.

You and your colleagues, Sir Etherton, would not be forcing people like Mr Conley to take their own lives, sooner than they might otherwise have done.

Simply because, as the custodians and supposed arbiters of the politically generated law of the land.  You are too docile do not have the moral, political and personal courage to deliberate judiciously on the matter.

Mr Conley and others who are being subjected to the detriment of your lack of courage and humanity, Justice Etherton, do not require your "great respect for him."

He and others like him, and those who support their argument.

Are simply asking that, in such cases where they are afflicted by illnesses which rob them of their dignity and entomb them in their increasingly unresponsive bodies.

The law affords them the facility and means to be assisted to die, at a time of their choosing.

If only you and your fellow cowardly colleagues, had the 'dignity and courage', which you disingenuously lauding in Mr Conley's character.

You have the power to help, to make a difference to the lives and pointless suffering of all the Noel Conleys of Britain.

But, instead of doing so, you and them elected to continue to sit on the fence, and to ensure that their suffering continues.

How terribly inhumane, cowardly, and unjust of you?!
