GERMAN GRAND PRIX - TEAM MERCEDES AND HAMILTON AND BOTTAS MADE IT A FIRST AND SECOND! THE END.....

Even though it nothing to do with God, and everything to do with Team Mercedes, Bottas and Hamilton and their cars putting in commanding and synchronising performances.  

Assisted by the intervention of fortuitous events which assisted their goal. 

Let anybody who would disagree with me on the logic of not thanking God for Mercedes' triumph.  Because, if Hamilton is to thank God for his good fortune, then, what should Vettel's reaction be?

Explain the lack of any morality or altruism in destroying Vettel's progress towards winning the race, so that Hamilton's chances could be improved and him ultimately triumphing? 


It is somewhat like saying 'my God is better than your God', or 'my prayers have been heard, but not yours.'

But so much for philosophising. 

A Very Big Congratulation to Team Mercedes, and Hamilton and Bottas, and to Kimi Raikkonen and Team Ferrari, for having taken their places on the Podium of the German Grand Prix of 2018. 

Commiserations to Sebastian Vettel and Ferrari, for suffering a spectacular misfortune; the same misfortune which has contributed to Team Mercedes' and other benefiting teams' pleasure.


A Big Thank You all the other drivers who and teams which have contributed and performed their roles toward making the 2018 German Grand Prix the entertaining and successful and memorable race it has transpired into being!

 And now, to Hungary, where the F 1 racers and their teams will have another opportunity to garner their skills, experience, race strategies and professional competence, to confront fate, in the Hungarian Grand Prix.
